Sister Rebecca Endres, CSA, baptized Mary Bernadette, died peacefully October 26, 2019, at St. Francis Home, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. For the following twenty years she did parish ministry in Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona, and New Mexico. She is survived by her nieces and nephews and the Sisters of St. Agnes, with whom she lived, prayed and ministered. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Memorial Mass for Sister Ann will be celebrated on a future date at the Nazareth Center Chapel with Father Ken Smits, Capuchin, presiding. The presider will be Father Ken Smits, Capuchin. Sister Rose pursued her avocation as an avid and excellent photographer for many years. Sister Mary created an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm for learning with her welcoming and creative spirit. Sister Caryl Hartjes, CSA, formerly Sister Theodine, died peacefully October 31, 2021, at Nazareth Center, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Cremation has taken place. A prayer service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Nazareth Court and Center Chapel. She is survived by her sister Gerry Lou OConnor, her nieces and nephews, and the Sisters of St. Agnes, with whom she lived, prayed and ministered. In May of 1951 she received her high school diploma from St. Agnes High School. Sister Martha Kretschmer, CSA, formerly Sister Albert Marie, died peacefully on May 28, 2019, at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Francis "Frank" J. Schmittlein, Jr., born on February 28, 1953, of the Northside of Pittsburgh passed away suddenly among close family on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, after celebrating his 70th Birthday.
